Pomene Hideaway is privately owned by shareholders from South Africa. It is a private, seclusive lodge located in the Pomene Nature Reserve. It has five bedrooms, each with an en suite bathroom.
There are practically no mosquitos at Pomene Hideaway – one of the unique features about this special place! During the past 15 years there have been two sightings of mosquitos. This means our beds are not covered with nets to you can enjoy an African paradise in true freedom!
There is no electricity, however there are solar panels, batteries and inverters installed to run camping fridges and to use basic electric equipment. There are two gas fridges as well. Fresh water is pumped daily from a well. Four of the rooms are equipped with paraffin geysers.
